Terms and conditions
Short and in plain language, so you know where you stand upfront. These terms apply to all our quotes and assignments.
1. Who we are
These terms belong to PlusDigital, Laakkade 183, 2521 XK Den Haag, Chamber of Commerce 94108668, VAT number NL866638908B01.
2. Quotes and pricing
A quote is valid for thirty days. The price we name is a fixed price for the work described in the quote, and it does not change because the work takes us longer.
If you ask for something along the way that was not in the assignment, we tell you the extra cost upfront. You never pay for work you did not approve in advance.
All amounts exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
3. What we need from you
To deliver we need your logo, photos, copy and feedback on time. If those are late, the delivery date moves with them. We tell you when that is about to happen.
You confirm that you have the right to use the imagery and copy you supply to us.
4. Delivery
For a standard website we aim to go live within one week of having everything. For webshops and larger projects we agree a different timeline upfront.
Before launch you see the site and can say what still needs doing. After launch, the arrangement belonging to your package applies.
5. Payment
For a one-off assignment we invoice fifty percent at the start and fifty percent at launch. For a subscription we invoice monthly in advance, with no setup fee.
The payment term is fourteen days. If payment does not arrive, we send a reminder before doing anything else.
6. The subscription
The subscription runs per month and can be cancelled monthly, with one month's notice. Hosting, domain, maintenance and reasonable changes are included.
If you cancel, the site goes offline. Your domain name always stays yours and we transfer it on request. If you want to keep the site you can buy it out at a previously discussed amount. We charge no penalty for leaving.
By reasonable changes we mean copy and image edits and small additions. A completely new design or new functionality is a new assignment.
7. Ownership
For a one-off assignment the delivered website is yours once the invoice is paid. With a subscription the site remains ours for as long as the subscription runs.
Your own content, your logo and your domain name are always yours in both cases. We may show the work in our portfolio unless you tell us you would rather we did not.
8. Liability
We do our work carefully, but we cannot guarantee that a website never goes down or that you reach a particular position in Google. Visibility depends on too many factors outside our control.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the assignment in question. We are not liable for consequential loss such as missed revenue.
9. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to our agreements. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, we bring it before the competent court in The Hague.
